Staithes only 10 miles from Whitby and once home to Captain James Cook, is a traditional old traditional old fishing village hidden away under the North Yorkshire Moors. This is a charming cottage in the old cobbled area of the village, next door to Captain Cooks Cottage (residential), and facing directly onto the beach and harbour slipway. There are stunning views from the front windows and bedrooms. Newly refurbished, but done so in a traditional & rustic style the cottage is well equipped. Pets permitted on the ground floor only. There is a car park available in the upper part of the village (Glenvale Tel 01947 840590).

Access from the rear of the property on Gun Gutter. Ground Floor: Entrance Hall, Lounge/dining room (seats up to 8) with electric 'wood burning' style stove & TV DVD etc. Kitchen well equipped and fitted.
