White Cottages are Historic Grade II listed buildings dating back to 1595 and the oldest inhabited dwellings in Whitby. The stone built cottage retains all its original charm and character while being fully modernised. Situated on an elevated site in the old part of the town, the cottage enjoys panoramic views over the harbour from the lounge and bedroom. The private garden and barbeque terrace receive the sun all day, and have truly spectacular views over the harbour and out to sea. Central heating and electricity are supplied free of charge and coal/logs are provided free throughout the winter months (October-March) The cottage is within walking distance of all amenities, yet remains quiet, private and peaceful. There is free on-street parking to the rear. 1 well behaved dog or other pet welcome.

Ground Floor: Large lounge with dining area, beamed ceiling, stone walls, antique furnishings and period open fireplace. Well equipped fitted kitchen. Bathroom with shower attachment. Utility room with washing machine. First Floor: Double bedroom with views over the entire harbour, the moors and the sea. Twin bedroom. Outside: Gardens/Patios back and front. The southwest facing garden and terrace area at the front of the house is equipped with garden furniture, a barbeque and hanging baskets in the summer months.
